Week 1: Lecture 1- Typographic Systems
TASKS
Week 1: Editing Exercises: Mints & Doritos
In this task, we are required to download the footage that provided by
lecturer. Then, we are going to use Adobe Premiere Pro to complete these
exercises.
Exercises Requirements:
- Download footage: Mints Footage & Doritos Footage
- Create NEW Premiere Pro Project
- Import footage into Premiere Pro
- Arrange shots on timeline with proper order
- Export video

Week 2: Shooting Exercises: Framing
In this task, we are required to shoot landscape format video (5sec/per
shot), we need to shoot a total of 8 shot size. Then, we are going to use
Adobe Premiere Pro to complete this exercise.
Required 8 Shot Size:
- Close-Up shot
- Frontal Medium Close-Up (soft background)
- Frontal Medium Shot (soft background)
- Extreme Close-Up Shot
- Side Angle Medium Shot (soft background)
- ¾ Angling Medium Close-Up Shot (with blurry/soft foreground)
- Low Angle Wide Shot
- Eye-Level Medium-Wide Shot
Exercises Requirements:
- Shoot landscape format video, 5 seconds per shot.
- Shoot wide shot with wide angle.
- The rest ZOOM IN to get soft background.
- Refer to the examples provided or google references for GOOD composition.
- Avoid overexposed or underexposed (too bright or too dark).
- Do the shooting during daytime.
- Edit with CAPTION (Mention the shot size), export video for submission.
